Imagine if Ben Shapiro debated some autist with no social skills, a stutter and an unseemly open wound on their nose. Ben took the position that Santa Claus is real and our stuttering fuck with the fucked up nose took the position that santa is just parents leaving presents.

I have no doubt that shapiro's presentation would ve better and more convincing. He owns the unseemly stuttering autist in every way and wins the debate. Does that make Ben right? Did we learn the truth? Or was the person representing reality just ill suited to make the case?

Debates are worthless. It's UFC for nerds. Learning this crushed me bc i was a nerd who loved debates, but it's all a jerkoff. It proves nothing.

Not only is it worthless, but watch ten minutes worth of Destiny and see how corrosive it is to that dude's ability to have any productive thoughts. It does more brain damage to its participants than the actual UFC

Here is where debate and, by extension, the destructive nature of 'Compromise' started:

Gen 3:1-5 (KJV) 'Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?' And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.'
