When it comes to the regime’s rhetoric surrounding the events of January 6, 2021, it’s difficult to tell who is a true believer and who is an outright propagandist. Many talking heads have said, with a straight face, that 1/6/2021 was on par in its "reprehensibility" with September 11, 2001. If one were to research the history of said pundits, you would probably have your answer. The fact that these regime apparatchiks called for the prosecution of “insurrectionist grandmas” to the fullest extent of the law, even capital punishment, and were not contradicted by the Executive branch clearly shows that we have reached the stage of Empire where the ruling class is calling for the death or imprisonment of those they disagree with politically. These are dangerous times, and dissidents must decide, even with their own rhetoric, how far they’re willing to push.

It goes without saying that if one is not worried about a knock on the door from an alphabet agency or a spot audit from the IRS, the word "dissident" is not applicable as most likely that person is not saying anything that’s a threat to the regime in charge. As an example, when it comes to the National Reviews and Reason Magazines of the world, the regime is more than willing to let their "dissenting" opinions slide as long as those opinions are kept within their ever-shrinking box of allowable opinions. Outlets such as the ones mentioned are experts at pushing the regime-adjacent interests of their wealthy donors while convincing the "little guy" donors that they’re out there fighting for them The "little guys" are so desperate for someone to "fight" for their rights that even if it was discovered that Reason and National Review writers have expense accounts and high salaries which allow them to live in the most expensive cities in America, while essentially accomplishing nothing in the form of promoting “little guy” values, they would continue to fund these leeches.

Oftentimes, the political class that begs for donations but doesn’t have the will to get what needs to be done politically is even more insidious. Politics, even at the local level, is a messy business that requires the use of power and force. Force is properly understood as pressure, "putting your thumb" on someone. If the political party you have chosen to champion your cause—whatever that may be—is unwilling to employ such measures, it is safe to assume the hard-earned income you are donating to them is being used for nothing more than a jobs program for the "leaders" and their friends, or things even more questionable when it comes to major parties. As someone who has perused Federal Election Commission reports for a few organizations, it appears to me that a good chunk of political donations go to funding "work trips" for the "leadership’ of parties and orgs. If you’re someone sending your money to these groups hoping to see the change you wish to see in the world, please ask yourself this question: When has a political movement ever expanded your liberty?

We live in an era where the regime in charge is prosecuting a former president with the intention of making sure that person can’t run for office again. Sure, there may be something more personal to it, but it is still unprecedented in its scope. Your normie neighbor who goes to a school board meeting to protest books that are being assigned to their kids promoting gay, anal sex is being labeled a terrorist by the Attorney General of the United States. People protesting abortion are being arrested, released, and then re-arrested and prosecuted by activist district attorneys. "Yeah, but that won’t happen to me." Maybe that’s because you don’t possess an opinion that’s a threat to them. And what good are you if you label yourself a dissident or "activist" but do not reflect that claim?

Putting your faith in "leaders" who continue to operate like it’s 1995 is folly. "Read this book about why the State is illegitimate, man" is not a good political or survival strategy. Especially if that leads you down the path of "power is illegitimate, man; we must destroy it." I swear that sounds like hippie shit from the 60s. If the world is burning around you and a "leader" is telling you to be proud because at least you’re more moral than everyone else, that’s just as bad as the "leader" telling you to do things that will get you arrested and thrown in jail. Nuance is a thing, and it is rare these days. Make sure that you and yours are taken care of, and if it is your desire to see things change politically, make sure you or the person you’re backing is willing to play the game the way it is being played against you. As I said in my last Substack, if you’re being invaded by men wielding guns and you don’t have at least the same firepower, you’re just waiting to be slaughtered. And from what I’ve seen, along with being an insider to a lot, most of the people you’re relying upon to push your agenda out into the existing political arena either don’t have the will to play the game the way it needs to be played or are not willing to sacrifice the financial rewards they’re reaping. That $10 a month would be better spent buying seeds or playing the lottery. You have a better chance of winning a jackpot than you do a milquetoast "freedom fighter" paving the way for liberty (Whatever that means).
